2023 We are building Hope!
We have had many blessings bestowed on us this year!
Not the least of which is you, our wonderful supporters. Because of your blessing us, we have been able to bless a record number of women who have come to our medical Centers and we have women and babies, including Royal, living in the Maternity home. This has been a year in which we rejoice in the Lord and His blessings!
MyChoice Pregnancy Care Center and Maternity Home of the Hudson Valley have joined together to be a Beacon of Light for pregnant women in New York. All our services are provided FREE to the women who come to us due to the generous support of our donors.
Beacon of Light Pregnancy Support Center, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

2023 UPDATE: After careful consideration and prayer, our Maternity Home will enter a season of Sabbth rest. It is currently not in operation as a physical location, however, our Board of Directors and our Executive Director are all very passionate about continuing to care for women’s housing needs. We would love to see how we can serve more women than the 4 our house could hold at one time. Housing is still a crisis here in New York, and many women could not qualify for our program, for various reasons. We would love to expand our net of financial and practical resources to help women who could not benefit from our Maternity Home. Please continue to pray with us for discernment and wisdom, as we seek the will of God for this area of our ministry. In the meantime, the pregnancy centers are thriving and we continue to serve more and more women experiencing unplanned pregnancy with life-saving medical services and crisis management. We are so excited about what God is going to do through our ministry in 2024!
We are more than just a house for homeless pregnant mothers… we are a home. Here women find a true place to live, learn and grow while they receive guidance and information on their parenting options.
Whether they choose to parent or make an adoption plan, they will get love and support. They are able to stay at the home at no cost during their pregnancy and up to the baby’s first birthday.
We also have support for the fathers– to learn to make a good decision for their child. They also receive the message of the gospel and are encouraged to join Bible studies.
MyChoice medical centers provides free medical services for women who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy. We have offices in Middletown and New Windsor, NY.
A registered nurse does a free pregnancy test, and if positive, can do an ultra-sound.
A trained Advocate goes over their situation and gives them resources to help, including information on their options and adoption. We also offer the gospel and prayer and referrals to local churches– like yours. We do not provide abortions nor do we refer for them.
Volunteer and Partner Opportunities:
Church Outreach partners– train to present our ministry to local churches.
Church Liaison– Become a Walk for Life ambassador for your Church and sign up Walkers to raise funds.
Community Events– volunteer at local events, attend a short training session and represent Beacon of Light in the community.
Youth group Healthy Life Choices– let your Church leaders know they can call on us for presentations with your Youth Groups.
Post Abortive Care Education (PACE) – For women who have previously had an abortion, we have a special group of women who will walk them through a free Scripturally based program, “Forgiven and Set Free.”
Maternity House Volunteers– If you have a hobby or talent, share it with the women: arts and crafts, cooking, couponing, dance exercise, etc.
“Adopt a Mom & Baby” As they transition out of the house, you and your Church can help support them emotionally as they move into their own homes.

Thank you for joining our community of supporters. Together, we can change one mind, one heart and one life at a time. We know you have a choice in which organizations you support, and we are grateful you choose to support these babies– and their moms. One of the common things we hear from people who are not truly aware of what we do is, “You don’t really care about the women’s lives, you just want them to keep their baby.” Nothing could be further from the truth! We care about them, that is why we do this, to help them get accurate and complete information about their pregnancy, along with support and resources so they can make a fully informed decision. Most women say if they knew someone cared, they would keep their baby.
