Thank you Beacon of Light Family!!! Because of YOU homes across Orange County are experiencing the love, joy and laughter that come with the presence of a new life! Some have been born, others are still being knit together in their mother’s wombs (Psalm 139:13). Every one is a blessing!
When a woman first finds out she is facing an unplanned pregnancy, she needs compassion, hope, and accurate information about all of her options, including the costs and risks associated with abortion. When she has all this information, including the opportunity to see her baby via ultrasound – and hear his or her heartbeat – she is more likely to choose life.
That’s why we’re asking you to partner with us again in 2025! Our team is strong, our centers are established, and we are ready to serve more women. We experienced a 30% increase in patients in 2024, which was over 440 women for the year! In 2025 we have an even bigger increase! This is due to our partnership with a marketing firm that works exclusively with pregnancy centers, in addition to using Google ads to reach the women who need our services. Your donations help us to reach more women with the services and information they need to choose LIFE!

We have had many blessings bestowed on us this year!
Not the least of which is you, our wonderful supporters. Because you’ve blessed us, we have been able to bless a record number of women who have come to our medical centers. This has been a year in which we rejoice in the Lord and His blessings!
MyChoice Pregnancy Care Center is a “Beacon of Light” for pregnant women in New York. All our services are provided FREE to the women who come to us due to the generous support of our donors.
Beacon of Light Pregnancy Support Center, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
2025 Update!
We have transferred control of the Maternity Home of the Hudson Valley over to a faithful group of people in Ulster County, some of whom are affiliated with the pregnancy center there, who are committed to keeping the mission alive. They have formed a new board of directors, hired a director and have a home! We are thrilled that they are so close, and will continue to be a resource for our pregnancy centers. Please keep them in prayer and continue to support them financially, if you are able.
MyChoice’s centers provide free medical services to women who are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. We have offices in Middletown and New Windsor, NY.
A registered nurse does a free pregnancy test, and if positive, can do a limited obstetrical ultrasound.
A trained advocate goes over their situation, and educates them on all of their options, including abortion, parenting and adoption and offers them resources to help if they choose to continue their pregnancy. We also offer the gospel, prayer and referrals to local churches – like yours. We do not provide abortions, nor do we refer for them.
Volunteer and Partner Opportunities:
Church Outreach partners– train to present our ministry to local churches.
Walk4Life Liaison– Become a Walk for Life ambassador for your Church and sign up Walkers to raise funds.
Church Liaison- Represent our mission in your church.
Community Events– volunteer at local events, attend a short training session and represent Beacon of Light in the community.
Youth group Healthy Life Choices– let your Church leaders know they can call on us for presentations with your Youth Groups.
Post Abortive Care Education (PACE) – For women who have previously had an abortion, we have a special group of women who will walk them through a free Scripturally based program, “Forgiven and Set Free.”

Thank you for joining our community of supporters. Together, we can change one mind, one heart and one life at a time. We know you have a choice in which organizations you support, and we are grateful you choose to support these babies– and their moms. One of the common things we hear from people who are not truly aware of what we do is, “You don’t really care about the women’s lives, you just want them to keep their babies.” Nothing could be further from the truth! We care about them, that is why we do this, to help them get accurate and complete information about their pregnancy, along with support and resources so they can make a fully informed decision. Most women say if they knew someone cared, they would keep their baby.
